Forgotten Tags

I've completely forgotten to post two tags I made for Koukussa Kortteihin tag swaps. Topics were quite free, purple and green.

For the purple tag I started by cutting the tag with Sizzix Alterations Tags & Bookplates -die out of chipboard. The I sponged gesso over the whole surface, let it dry and sponged again with acrylic paints. I used Game Colors in Tinny Tin, Brassy Bras, Hammered Copper and Hexed Lichen.

Next I printed out twice a clockwork I had uploaded from The Sum Of All Crafts. I cut out watch hands from the other one, colored them purple with Dusty Corduroy Distress Ink and coated with Glossy Accent. I used my Neopiko markers to add some shading and color to the picture and also coated the clockwork with Glossy Accent.

Butterfly was cut out with Sizzix Alterations Fanciful Flight -die out of black cardstock and Papermania patterned paper. I added some glitter glue over the whole butterfly. Bookplate was cut out with the same die as the tag out of black cardstock. I rubber some metallic rub-ons to it to create a bit of shimmer.

After glueing all the paper parts down I added some tiny wrist watch pieces here and there. Glossy accent and tweezers heard a lot of curses while I did this for all the three tags. Fortunately there wasn't any more participants in this swap!

I had wised up a bit by this green tag and made it a little simpler. I cut the tag out and used a Sizzix embossing plate to create swirls on the backround. Some inking with Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks brought a bit of life to the pattern.

I used Sizzix Alterations Styled Labels -die to cut a backround for our adorable giraffe. Giraffe was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with chocolate brown embossing powder. I colored it with Distress inks. After that I created a mask for it and stamped some crowns and added some color behind it.

These were so much fun to make! Tag for me is somewhy the most relaxed form to work with.

Karitas Blog Candy

I made a last chance card for Karitas blog candy. She wanted to see some cards made after her sketch. I've been meaning to wrap up something for days but somehow the sketch was difficult. I'm still not satisfied with the result but this has to do.

The colors, especially in flowers are a bit more purple in real life. But just look at that adorable picture Emmi draw me. Fabulous, isn't it?
