I was at my grandmoms a few days ago and rummaged trough her sewing boxes. I found loads of beautiful buttons and robbed some of the lonely ones. I also found some random embellishments and ribbons. Unfortunately most of the beautiful ribbons were too wide to use in my projects but I took the few narrower ones.
The best was yet to come. My friend came over yesterday with two old clockworks from his grandfathers storage and asked if I could think of something to do with them. The other was immediately dissembled by my hubby and I'm still thinking what to do with the other. It's so beautiful as it is that I don't want to put it in parts just yet in case I get an idea how to use it as whole.
